About
Landing Trail School serves students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 4. Outstanding staff members create a safe, caring learning environment under the philosophy of “Together We Make a Difference.” The school is committed to academic excellence and focuses strongly on numeracy and literacy at all grade levels. We use guided reading and, when necessary, one-on-one support for students who are struggling.
Introduction
Landing Trail School opened its doors to learners in the Gibbons community
in 1982. Since then, our school has enjoyed four decades of inspiring a love for learning,
building connections, and setting our students up for personal and academic success.
We endeavor to model a growth mindset and promote social and emotional learning
by remembering to always treat each other with respect and kindness. Students are
supported in their learning journey by a dedicated team of professionals who work hard
to ensure success for every student. We recognize that your role as a parent is central to
your child's progress and our success as a school community. Regular communication
between home and school ensures that we consistently work together for your child's
