Louise Loh
Principal
Over the past 23 years, Louise has taught grades K-9 in rural, urban and international settings, with the previous two years as Vice Principal of Namao School. Louise has completed her LQS Certification, Master's in Educational Leadership from Yorkville University, Bachelor’s of Education from the University of Alberta and Associate Diploma (ARCT) in Piano Performance.
As an educational leader, Louise prioritizes three key areas. First, she focuses on building authentic and collaborative relationships within the school community. Second, she upholds the school's vision of fostering quality student learning in a safe and caring environment. Third, she strives to cultivate and sustain evidence-informed teaching and authentic learning practices, encompassing critical thinking, inquiry-based learning and real-world application. Louise is dedicated to developing the capacity and collective efficacy of the school community by actively collaborating with engaged stakeholders.
Louise feels deeply honoured to return to Landing Trail School, where she began her teaching career 22 years ago. She regards it as a privilege to be chosen as a leader and expresses her gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with the staff, students and families of Landing Trail.
