Choir

The Landing Trail School Choir has been making joyful sounds for decades. Comprised of students from Grades 2 to 4, the choir season runs from September to early May. Over time, our group has regularly participated in the Fort Saskatchewan and St. Albert Music Festivals, often earning an encore invitation.

This year, on Wednesday, October 11, our choir members will perform at Rogers Place during an Oil Kings game. Additionally, they lend their voices to a Remembrance ceremony on November 3.

After the holiday break, the choir gets ready for the St. Albert Music Festival, an opportunity to learn from and hear other choirs. On Monday, April 22, the Landing Trail Choir joins forces with students from Ochre Park, Redwater, Gibbons, Lillian Schick, Bon Accord, and Legal Schools to create the Sturgeon East Side Massed Choir, performing at the Winspear Centre during the Sturgeon Evening of Music.

Returning to our local community, the Landing Trail Choir performs for our dedicated volunteers at the Volunteer Tea, and we conclude our season with a Choir Party in May.

This program emphasizes the values of hard work, teamwork, and the pursuit of a common goal over time. Being part of a choir teaches the importance of dedication and working together.
